The Openwork Partnership is one of the UK’s largest and longest-established financial advice and investment networks employing over 4300 staff across the UK. The challenge

Our brief was to provide state-of-the-art user-centric technology solutions throughout their offices. The Openwork Partnership required technologically advanced workspaces with agile workflows to foster collaboration and employee well-being.

Audiovisual solution – To find a streamlined high-quality audiovisual solution where meetings could be started with just one touch.

Access control – To find an easy-to-use cloud-based access control and intercom system for their Swindon office building.

Parking barriers – To identify and supply a solution to update their car park barriers that could be integrated with the intercom and access control system.

Digital Signage – Internal communication and branding for reception, training rooms, shared spaces and the café. 

Our solution

The audiovisual solution centered around bringing people and technology together by creating intelligent, agile meeting environments and equipping their staff with the tools they need to thrive in the hybrid workplace.

All meeting rooms use the same experience with a touch panel to start meetings. The different size rooms have different high-quality video and audio installed depending on the size of the room. Small to medium size rooms have an audio-video bar.  The boardrooms and large meeting and training rooms include the latest audio system with ceiling microphones, speakers, and high-quality AI cameras.

The latest Paxton 10 access control system and new barriers were installed.

Several digital signage screens are dotted around the building displaying exciting news, company updates, and information in different areas.

Our VC Intellicore monitoring system is set to a high level to include most Openwork security compliances.

Audiovisual network and switches are installed and configured by our IT department.

The result

​The final solution presented a complete package combining audiovisual and IT services provide an automated, streamlined solution for an efficient and consistent user experience throughout the Swindon building and London offices.  High-quality easy-to-use equipment improves user experience, promotes collaboration, and encourages technology adoption.

After completing work, the Openwork Partnership adopted our 24-7 remote monitoring and proactive support service to keep their technology running at peak performance and enable them to always be meeting-ready. Our service includes first-line technical support, automated updates to secure their technology, detailed monthly reports, a live asset list, and yearly health checks.
